Yantai Spandex is the main unit in drafting China National Standard of Spandex. The NEWSTAR® brand spandex won ‘China Top Brand’ and is the representative spandex brand in China.

NEWSTAR® spandex is produced by advanced “dry-spinning” technology, having the properties of good evenness, moderate stretch and stable quality. It is suitable for more applications than ordinary spandex.

NEWSTAR® spandex is famous for its full range of specifications and rich variety. Items from 15D to 2000D are available in dull, clear, solution dyed, anti-chlorine, easy dyeable, low stress, heat resistant and high gloss. Additional specification of spandex yarn can be produced according to customers’ requirement.

NEWSTAR® spandex is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, product class I. It is a safe and healthy ecological textile material.

NEWSTAR® spandex mainly has T-111, T-115, T-255, T-315,T-535 and T-735 six product series with different specifications and properties for different textile applications.

T-111 Series: Dull type, possessing properties of fatigue durability ,abrasion resistance, high elastic recovery and big surface friction coefficient. Suitable for covering yarn, core spun yarn, twisting yarn,etc.

T115 Series:Semi-dull type , possessing properties of fatigue durability, abrasion resistance as well as high and fast elastic recovery .The fine deniers are suitable for covering yarn, core spun yarn and twisting yarn. The coarse deniers are mainly used for making fabrics and for warp knitting applications.

T225 Series:Semi-dull type, possessing properties of high elongation, low stress, good evenness , good high temperature resistance. Suitable for covering , core-spun, weft amd warp knitting.

T315 Series:Semi-dull type possessing properties of high elongation, low stress, good evenness and cohesive property. Suitable for covering ,twisting ,weft and warp knitting.

T535 Series:Semi-dull type, possessing properties of high elongation, low stress, good evenness, chlorine-resistance, abrasion resistance and good cohesive property. Suitable for covering , core-spun, twisting and warp knitting.

T-735 Series:Semi-dull type, possessing of fatigue durability, abrasion resistance as well as high elastic recovery. The middle coarse deniers are suitable for covering yarn, core spun yarn twisting yarn as well as warp knitting. The coarse deniers are suitable for making narrow fabrics and hygienic articles.
